Can’t find your hardware? QSO Director is continually adding support for new station equipment. If there’s a device you’d like to see supported, let us know.

Control more of your station from one place

QSO Director goes beyond radio CAT control, bringing multiple parts of the station together through a common control system.

More than a compatibility list

Hardware support in QSO Director is designed around the capabilities of each device. Where hardware provides additional functions beyond basic control, QSO Director can expose those capabilities throughout the application.

Native integrations

Direct integrations where they provide capabilities beyond generic control.

Capability-aware control

Controls adapt to the capabilities of the connected hardware.

One connected station

Radios, amplifiers, rotators and antenna switches work as parts of the same station rather than isolated devices.

Connect the way your hardware supports

Depending on the device, QSO Director can communicate using USB, serial, Ethernet, Wi-Fi and manufacturer-specific network interfaces. Available connection methods are shown in the compatibility finder above.

FAQ

Does QSO Director support my radio?

Use the compatibility finder above to search by manufacturer or model. Supported connection methods are shown alongside each device.

Does QSO Director use Hamlib for radio control?

No, QSO Director uses it’s own unique rig control system which is compatible with 3rd party applications that do use Hamlib.

Can I use more than one radio?

Yes, you are not limited to a fixed number of radios. You can connect as many radios as your computer can handle.

Does QSO Director support network-connected radios?

Yes. Where supported by the radio, QSO Director can provide direct network connectivity without requiring a local serial CAT connection. Network capable radio’s from ICOM, FlexRadio, Elecraft, Yaesu, Xiegu and many others are supported.

Can QSO Director control amplifiers and rotators as well as radios?

Yes. QSO Director’s Station Control capabilities extend beyond radios to supported amplifiers, rotators and antenna switches.

My hardware isn’t listed. Can I request support?

Yes. Hardware support continues to expand, and requests help identify equipment that QSO Director users would find most valuable. Head over to the contact page on the main menu and send us a message, we’ll get support added as soon as we can.
