New Features
- Band plans can now be customised by editing json files. A proper interface to edit these will be added in the future. To use this, copy the band plan you want to edit from the BandPlans folder into the BandPlansCustom folder and make the necessary changes to the copy. Band plans in the BandPlansCustom folder must be named BandPlanRegion1.json, BandPlanRegion2.json or BandPlanRegion3.json to function.
- The worked matrix now has switchable modes. You can now right click and select DXCC Entity as the mode it is running in. This will show the worked matrix for the current QSO Callsign’s DXCC entity instead of that callsign specifically. It does not check confirmation status yet. Additional considerably enhanced functionality will be available for DXCC tracking once the awards update is released in a future version.
- You can now right click a band map and clear spots for just that band. You must be within a valid band for this function to operate.
- You can now right click the cluster grid and choose to clear all spots. This will clear all current spots.
Changes
- The QSO Entry action buttons have now been re-arranged to reduce the chance of accidentally clicking of the wrong option. Wipe has been moved to the far left, actions that can be performed on that QSO are now centred and the log button remains on the right.
- The Go to band right click option is now available on radio bound band maps again.
- Added a warning to the choose database folder location warning the user not to use iCloud, OneDrive or shared network folders.
- Linux now allows Serial port selection using by-id and by-path style ports
- Mac now allows all cu.* and tty.* serial ports
Bug Fixes
- IC-7100 Mode detection has been improved for Data Modes (not yet confirmed working)
- Region 3 default band plan for 40m now extends to 7300 Khz
- Hamlib Generic Client 1 & 2 VFO S-meter was not always working
- Hardened SCP Data downloader against corrupt downloads
- Fixed crash that can occur during certain shutdown scenarios, especially when windows updates forces a shutdown of running applications.
- QSO Validation was not allowing +-XX format RST values. These now work correctly
- When using a real time network sender a crash could occur if an invalid latitude or longitude was entered in the QSO
- Some settings especially Ci-V override can fail and cause repeated crashes on Finnish, Norwegian, and Swedish culture computers
- Bug with window layout storage and restoration
- Improved Window state and location tracking in the layout engine
- Improved WebKit2gtk detection in linux installation routines
- Yaesu radio’s using the ASCII protocol (FT-2000 onwards) were not correctly switching the active VFO.
