If you've arrived here then you likely want to know a little about the person behind the software. QSO Director is developed and maintained by myself, James M0YOM along with the support of my partner Michelle.
I have been a licensed radio amateur for since 2007 but have been interested in radio since an early age building my first receiver when I was 11 years old. I'm an avid contester and enjoy many aspects of the hobby from homebrew equipment to contesting and the occasional DX-pedition.
Professionally I've worked in IT and Software Development my entire career with over 30 years experience in product design and software development. I've had the opportunity to be involved with many products over the years and was the main architect and product designer for some very large software systems in use in many large businesses around the world including quite a few household names.
in 2023 I had the opportunity to be able to start something new and made the choice to focus solely on building QSO Director and finally bringing the modern, highly functional amateur radio software platform I have always felt the community would benefit from into existence.
